Feminist, Social Justice, and Political Organizing and Activism
I am the Secretary of the Bell Street Chapel Governing Board. Bell Street is a Unitarian Universalist church. The UU shared vales are Justice, Equity, Transformation, Pluralism, Interdependence, and Generosity, powered by Love. As such, I consider my work on the Board and my participation in Sunday services as part of my feminist and social justice activism.
Currently I serve on the Rhode Island Senate District 24 Committee, and that is the only political committee or board I serve on for the time being.
I’m a recurring donor, member and/or participant of:
- The Womxn Project
- Indivisible Rhode Island
- Unitarian Universalist Legislative Ministries of Rhode Island
In the past I’ve served on the committee or board of
- Rhode Island Democratic Women’s Caucus
- RI NOW
- Woonsocket Democratic City Committee
